Patient Services

Our treatment programs begin with a carefully conducted sequence of consulting, diagnostic and counseling services. Depending on your particular needs, the following screening, diagnostic, and/or counseling services may be administered:

Preliminary and Diagnostic Services

Careful planning is one of the key factors behind a successful assisted pregnancy. We offer the following services to help determine the best course of treatment for you and your growing family:

Initial Infertility/Recurrent Miscarriage Consultation

Your physician thoroughly evaluates both you and your partner to determine precisely which factors may be causing your difficulty in having a baby. Your previous tests and past treatments will also be considered in determining the ideal course for care.

Endocrine Testing

Depending on the results of your initial consultation, your physician may order diagnostic tests on various hormone levels to check your ovarian reserve and confirm your ovulatory status.

Ovarian Reserve Screening

Unlike men, whose sperm cells continue to regenerate for most of their lives, a woman is born with all of the eggs her body will ever produce. This ovarian reserve, or bodily supply of eggs, starts declining in quantity from the moment she is born, and continues to decline steadily over the course of her life.

Ovarian reserve screening can help determine if a sufficient number of eggs are present to provide ample opportunity for fertilization. Screening is usually conducted by testing hormone levels on specific days in your menstrual cycle.

Hysterosalpingogram

An hysterosalpingogram is a radiological test that can evaluate the shape of the uterine cavity, and tell whether both fallopian tubes are open.

Sonohysterogram

A sonohysterogram is a sonogram of the uterus used to evaluate the shape of the uterine cavity.

Semen Analysis

Among other factors, sperm count, motility and morphology are assessed to determine whether male-factor infertility may be an associated cause.
